Mathboard is an app designed to teach students and kids math skills on an iPad. The user can decide what questions they want to answer, how long for and the difficulty. After going through the options the user will then be able to do the quiz which will combine of a few questions depending on that of the user’s choice. At the end of the quiz the user will be able to view their overall performance and save it to see if they can beat it at a later time. Mathboard is also LanSchool certified so schools and teachers can use the app in there classrooms being able to monitor their students results and performance on their own designated device.

Positives

Mathboard is displayed in a clear and easy to read style making it perfect for kids and students. The buttons are easy to use and are in good positions below the question so you can still be able to see the question at the same time. The app has a great amount of settings allowing the user to edit the app to how they feel they can perform. The ability to have more than one profile is also good allowing multiple users on one device. The addition of the problem solvers is also great allowing the user to follow through how to solve certain specific sums.

Negatives

The only real negative is the horrible bell sound after an answer. If this app was to be used in a classroom I think it would get very annoying.

Final Verdict

Mathboard is the perfect app for Students and children trying to learn or improve their maths skills. Teachers will love this app and if their school has the facilities I recommend they use this app in their maths class’s as it’s a great tool.
